Benefits of the PERKESO Health Screening Programme
- Early Detection of Diseases
- The HSP focuses on identifying health issues early, allowing for timely intervention and treatment. This can prevent serious complications from diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer, which are often manageable if detected early.
- Free Preventive Healthcare
- Employees get access to a range of health tests at no cost, making preventive healthcare more accessible and affordable, especially for lower-income workers.
- Improved Workforce Health
- By promoting a healthier workforce, the HSP helps in reducing absenteeism and increasing productivity. Workers who are aware of their health status are more likely to make lifestyle changes that benefit both their personal health and job performance.
- Reduction of Healthcare Costs
- Early diagnosis of chronic diseases reduces long-term healthcare costs. By catching diseases early, employees avoid the high costs of treating advanced diseases.
- Comprehensive Health Monitoring
- The program provides a broad range of health indicators, offering employees and their healthcare providers insights into various aspects of their health, from metabolic conditions to cancer risks.
- Support for Employers
- The HSP contributes to a healthier workforce, which means fewer sick days, less turnover, and a reduction in long-term medical costs for employers. It also aligns with corporate social responsibility initiatives to support employee well-being.
